1. About Us

Memories of Time creates thoughtfully handcrafted keepsake jewellery, designed to hold life’s most meaningful moments. Each piece is made with care, respect and attention to detail.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Products & Keepsake Nature

Our jewellery is created as a personal keepsake, often containing a small and meaningful inclusion. Due to the handmade and personal nature of our work:

  • Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from images shown

  • Natural variations are part of the design and process

  • Minor imperfections are not considered faults but a reflection of handcrafted work

3. Placing an Order

When placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally entitled to send us the inclusion provided

  • All information supplied is accurate and complete

  • You understand the personal and bespoke nature of the item

Once an order is placed, work begins specifically for you.

4. Sending Inclusions

Clear instructions will be provided after your order is placed.

  • Only a very small amount of inclusion is required

  • We recommend using tracked and secure delivery

  • Memories of Time cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us

5. Care, Respect & Discretion

All inclusions are treated with the utmost respect, discretion and care.

  • Inclusions are securely stored during the creation process

  • They are never shared, mixed or used for any other purpose

  • Any remaining inclusion is returned with your finished piece where possible

6. Creation Timeframes

As each piece is made individually:

  • Typical creation time is 4 - 6 weeks from receipt of your inclusion

  • Timeframes may vary during busy periods

  • You will be kept informed should any delays arise

We never rush the creation of keepsake jewellery.

7. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£)

  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering

  • Prices may change but confirmed orders will not be affected

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of keepsake jewellery:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once inclusions have been received

  • Refunds are not available for personalised or custom-made items

This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Returns & Faults

If your item arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs and a description of the issue

  • We will assess and resolve the matter promptly and fairly

Normal wear, accidental damage or misuse are not covered.

10. Liability

Memories of Time cannot be held responsible for:

  • Loss of inclusions during customer transit

  • Delays outside of our control

  • Emotional value attached to the keepsake beyond the physical item itself

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, text and imagery on this website are the property of Memories of Time and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
